DIDATTICA

- Introduction to the level 5 Trinity exam Talking through the two parts, TOPIC AND CONVERSATION Watching a mock video online to show students what is expected Brainstorm TOPIS IDEAS

- Brainstorming the TOPIC phase of the exam, using Trinity materials, eliciting ideas and talking about which are better and why... Developing their topic ideas, working together to give extra ideas. Look at CONVERSATION phase of the exam, building vocabulary connected with 'special events' Speaking activities comparing the differences between typical festivals in England and in their country.

- Continuation of The Topic phase, finalizing ideas, increasing vocabulary and role playing dialogues  Further look at the Conversation Phase, eliciting vocabulary and some grammar activities.

- Further development of the conversation phase, extending new vocabulary and building longer answers, giving deeper reasons and encouraging them give more interesting responses

DIDATTICA

- Working through errors and common mistakes from last weeks simulation test. Looking in more detail about the Conversation phase questions, extending their answers.

- This lesson was spent extending their vocabulary for each of the conversation phase topics

- This lesson was based on the grammar needed for the exam, particular focus on the present perfect and the past simple
